Hello There (:

I know it's been awhile since I last sat down a made a blog post. I have been
so unbelievably busy with school, work and just general life. I sadly suffer from high
social anxiety and in the last year I haven't really been out and about that much.
So this last couple months I have been trying to get out and over come my bad anxiety
episodes. Plus it's FALL!! One of my most favourite seasons along side winter (:
So I have been enjoying the Halloween specials and making myself some apple cider.
And more importantly COMFY SWEATERS!! I have been really into the whole black leggings, knitted jumpers, and riding boots (:

Hopefully, I will have more time spring up in my busy schedule and be able to do more of
these blog posts. I also wanted to quickly mention, that my birthday was a last month on September 23rd, and for my 18th birthday I got what I always wanted....

JEFFERY CAMPBELL LITAS!!!
They are hands down the most amazing shoes I have ever owned in my entire life. I have been drooling over these for about a year now. Every time someone has a haul video on Youtube with these shoes I turn green with envy! But no more! I now own a pair and people can drool over them now. (Review and post will be coming soon)

Hope your all having an amazing fall experience and hopefully a good Halloween.

Ciao xoxo.

A Bit Under The Weather

source weheartit.com

Hey everyone! You may have noticed that I haven't been present on my blog in sometime, well I'm here to let you know why! For starters, around the first week of September right before school I went to emerge because my whole left side of my face swelled up. Turns out I got cellulitis, which basically an infection of the sinuses because of this I actually missed the first day of school :O I know, I'm a terrible student not to mention it was an amazing way to start the year off (NOT!).

After that, I was good for about a week and was back at school catching up on homework, let me tell you I missed quite a bit in the first week. Definitely was wishing I didn't get sick and went back to school! Well after that it went all down hill from there let me tell you, my wonderful and loving boyfriend gave me the flu! Oh yes! THE FLU!! So I've been feeling under the weather and really haven't had the energy to get up and create a blog, sorry :(

I will not be able to blogs like everyday as I'm still catching up with missed work and doing assignments that I've already gotten (yep, my teacher are definitely nice people). Oh! By the way, I got a new camera so when I do reviews they will be in amazing HD! Woot Woot!!!

OOTD: Professional Work Attire

Yesterday I put together an outfit that I was pretty proud of, I have been really loving the collared shirt look for this summer and pairing them with various skirts I have. Yesterday I had to run around town doing errands with my boyfriend as school is starting for me next week, plus after that I had to go to work and didn't feel like between then having to change into work appropriate attire. I definitely feel like my style is very girly, and it's definitely noticeable in this outfit, now I'll stop rambling on and show you what I wore.

On face:
~Revlon ColorStay in Nude
~Hard Candy Glamoflauge
~Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara
~Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Liner in Black/Brown
~NYC Sunny Bronzer
~NYC Blush in West Side Wine
As for my hair; I just curled it with a 2" inch curling iron, that fell to look like this (note: these were taken around 7 pm after a long day). Today I didn't feel like styling my bangs so I did a middle parting and pinned back my bangs (: I think it turned really lovely for errands and work!

The collar shirt (creme) is from Winner's and it was $16.99, the skirt (tan) is from Forever21 (the belt came with the skirt) and it was $12.99 ( I think), and my purse was from Suzie Sheer and I got that on sale for $10.00 (bargain!!!). Finally my shoes are from Payless Shoe Store and there black swede affect and they were around 25 dollars I think.

I know it's hard to see but the nail polish I'm wearing (navy blue) is L'Oreal in Jet Set to Paris. As for accessories I'm wearing sparkly bow earrings that I got at Forever21 in a set, and the ring is the one that my boyfriend bought me for our 1 year anniversary. (:

Tag ~~ How Much Is Your Face Worth?

Hey everyone!
I discovered this tag from one of my favorite UK bloggers SprinkleofGlitter (a.k.a Louise), now there is a huge gap between our ages but even though some topics are a bit above my head her make-up/fashion advise is one of the best. I know I can trust her for honest reviews of any product which is hard to come by. So when I saw this tag on her blog, I was more then over joyed to do it. If you've never heard of her before, seriously why are you still here!? GO CHECK HER OUT!!!

Now the tag is basically taking note of all the products you use on your face and calculate it to see how much your face is "worth"

Revlon ColourStay "Makeup with Softflex" (Beige) - $14. 96
Hard Candy Glamoflage(Light) - $7.96
Covergirl Clean Oil-Free Pressed Powder (Buff Beige) - $6.96
E.L.F High Definition Powder (Setting Powder) - $6.00
NYC Cheek Glow (West Side Wine) - $2.99
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder (Sunny) - $2.99

Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo (Brown shade for eye-brows) - $25.00
Maybelline Illegal Length Fiber Extensions (Black) - $7.96
Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Liner (Black/Brown) - $6.99
Rimmel London Exaggerate Eye Definer (Black) - $5.99

EOS Lip Balm (Summer Fruit) - $6.99
MAC Cremesheen (Cream Cup) - $18.50

Grand Total = $113.29

Ouch.....
I like to think of myself as a very frugal person, I don't like to spend too much money at one time and have this weird obsession with always having a large amount of cash in my account. Even though I don't spend that often, frankly I thought the number would be way less as I tend to go for inexpensive products that are still good quality (for example Elf products). The only product I have really only splurged on was my foundation and my lipstick, (the eye shadow duo was a gift), and before you point out that I forgot eyeshadow, I didn't I just choose not to wear it. I find, in my opinion, that eye shadow looks a bit odd on me (probably years of extravagant dance makeup).

Anyway, I tag anyone who wants to do this, as personally I found it a big eye opener, leave it in the comments so I can look at it!!

Birthday Wish List

If you've read the "About Me" tag I did as my first post on this blog, you will know that my birthday is coming up in just over a month. I will be turning 18 years old, which in Canada isn't really anything special except I get to buy lottery tickets. Regardless I thought I would show a few things that I was thinking of asking for.

MAC Cremesheen; Creme Cup

I have always marvelled at MAC cosmetics at the pigmentation, the colours and even the collections that seem to come out all the time. But after one good look at the price I was turned off completely, being a student still in high school I couldn`t afford to purchase these products on a whim. Not to mention I live in a small town in Northern Ontario and MAC would never reach the little mall here, plus adding on the tax + shipping makes the order x10 worse.

But when I was on vacation during March 2011 I was finally able to go into MAC and take a nice big look around. It in my opinion, it was breath-taking, keep in mind this was my first time in there.  Not to mention, VERY over whelming, I had absolutely no idea what to look at first and even worse I had no idea what I wanted my first purchase to be. After looking around a bit, I zeroed in on the lip products and I knew what I wanted my first product to be and I knew that I would get alot of use out of one of those.

I discovered this bad boy and new it was the lipstick for me, I was never very daring when it came to make-up so I knew I wanted something very neutral. Plus it looked really good with my skin tone, it was also right after winter so my skin was very pale. I have since learned that this lipstick (in my opinion) doesn`t suit someone with a darker skin tone, something I learned this summer after getting a nice tan. The lipstick is super moisturising and the wear is very long lasting, not to mention super pigmented which means you don`t need a lot to cover your lips.  Surprisingly, this is not my first one, after an unfortunate over heat the first lipstick I bought snapped off and I used it till it was all gone and repurchased this one. After trying this lipstick for over a year I definitely feel more confident and will definitely be trying out more MAC lip products but I`m not confident enough to spend the money on any of their over products.

The one complaint I would have with this lipstick is that the blue tones in it really make your teeth look yellow, but I guess that gives me an excuse to start whitening :P I didn`t realize this until looking on their website and came across the description of the lipstick but I still love it no matter what.

Feel free to comment if you have any recommendations on any other MAC products I should try out, I have been thinking about maybe getting a foundation from them but it would have to be when I go down south later in the year.

Review: Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter

I know there has been alot of hype and many reviews on this new Revlon product, but I thought I would create this post to share my own opinion it. I purchased this product after watching many videos raving about it as well as countless blogs stating how amazing it was. Well I definitely needed a piece of that pie, and so I motored over to the Wal-Mart and bought it. The lip butter costed me $7.97 (Canadian), that left me hoping this was all it was cracked up to be, as I just spent 8 dollars on a lip balm. Well let me tell you it did not disappoint....

Quick side note! I know these pictures are not of the greatest quality but my family took off with my good camra to the cottage, so these will have to do!

"The lip butter that I chose was 015 "Tutti Frutti", as I am really into orange lip products this summer"

"As you can see it comes in this really cute color casing, not to mention the lid doesn't pop off when it's banging around in your purse which is also a plus (:"
"when looking at it, it's kind of scaring as the color is so bright! But have no fear, it looks pretty darn good!"

"very pigmented for a lip balm"

As for the pigmentation it's surprisingly good for a lip butter (my hand does not do it justice), but I did not want to post a picture of it on my lips, as I have fallen victim to spots along my month this mouth. When applied the pigmentation is amazing, it's almost like wearing Morange from MAC, mind you I have noticed that in pictures it does tend to come out looking very red, which is really odd. When applied on the lips it's so moisturising which is good for me as I tend to have dry lips and it does not fall into the little cracks you may have from dry lips. The only down side that I can think of with this product is that I find myself reapplying it quite a bit throughout the day as it tends to fade pretty quickly.

For an $8 product I really wish that the product would last longer on your lips as I find it tiresome to keep reapplying it. I'm the kind of person who likes to put lip products on and not worry about them for while, maybe doing a touch up one or twice within the day.

Anywho! What are your opinions on this product? Do you have the same problem with it?
Love to hear from you! xo.
